This is an individually owned shop displaying items made by hand by the owner -created for pure enjoyment, viewing, or purchase... featuring ladies special occasion millinery (formal hats, bridal couture , etc.), as well as a variety of other artistic creations from time to time.

(1) PURE 100% NATURAL SILK Tulle: (ultra-soft) drapes like melted butter, has floating movement. Unmatched elegance.
(2) BRIDAL ILLUSION Tulle (super-soft) has good drape, more body, and really nice movement.
(3) BRIDAL ILLUSION DIAMOND Tulle (soft): this tulle is similar to No. 2, has less drape, more shine, more spring, more fluffy volume.
*My item descriptions specify the type of tulle used.

Cheaper tulle is scratchy, crunchy, crinkly, stiff, with limited drape. It is not suitable for bridal veils, and is best-used in tutu's or fluffy apparel to help it stand puffed out (I do not use this kind of tulle in my veils). ****BE AWARE**** some makers use it anyway** [If the photo shows angular lines it may be this cheaper, scratchy tulle]

Wear something similar to your bridal outfit while measuring, and use a non-stretch measuring tape.
1) hold the measuring tape to your head at the point of attachment
2) allow the “zero” end of the measuring tape to dangle (yes, dangle the zero)
3) softly drape the tape to the desired veil length
4) take that measurement that is at the point of attachment
5) measure 2-3 times for accuracy

Pull long hair into a low ponytail to minimize slippage while measuring. Use a non-stretch measuring tape:
(1) measure as snugly as you want the interior sweatband of your hat to be, not too tight
(2) measure along the line where you want the interior sweatband of your hat to sit
(3) begin above the eyebrows, wrap around the head going along the line where you want the hat sweatband to sit, going above the top tips of the ears, straight across the back of the head (check straightness with mirror), and meet at the starting point. Slip one fingertip under; take the measurement (if using the string method, snip the string and place it on a ruler to get the measurement).
This is your crown circumference. Measure 2-3 times for accuracy.

Hats/Veils: carefully tissue-wrapped, placed inside a box/hatbox, which is enclosed in plastic, and shipped inside a protective heavy shipper.
(1) Ready-to-Ship items generally ship within 1 business day of my receipt of payment.
(2) Customized items ship within 1 business day of customer's final approval and payment.

DELIVERY TIMING:
__Shipments to destinations within the contiguous U.S. are via U.S.P.S., insured, tracked, and once shipped typically arrive within three to seven (3-7) business days.
__Shipments to destinations outside the contiguous U.S. are via international carrier, insured, and must be signed for by an adult upon delivery. Once shipped, these typically arrive within ten to twenty (10-20) business days.
